Burnell “B” Huffman, Jr. age 91, of Galion passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Born November 30, 1933 in Crestline, he was the son of the late Burnell and Zoella (Teetrick) Huffman. He married Judith Bricker on May 3, 1958 and she preceded him in death on October 3, 2014.
He was a graduate of Crestline High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion. He retired from General Motors/EDS and later worked at Crossroad Candles. He was the #1 fan of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was affectionately known as Grandpa B and Mister B. He enjoyed working outside, tending to his lawn and planting flowers.
He is survived by daughters Kathy Sage, Karen Stitzel, Jeanne (David) Kuns, Joan (Marty) Estes, Jennifer (Tony) Maples, Kelly (Doug) Schimpf and Kerri (Bill) Ganshorn; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, sister Linda Osborne and brother-in-law Terry Bricker.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and his great granddaughter Rory Grace Tyrrell.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025 for fellowship at the St. Joseph Activity Center, 115 North Liberty St in Galion.
