BUCYRUS — A 42-year-old Bucyrus man was arrested on drug charges Wednesday afternoon after a raid by the METRICH Drug Task Force, according to Bucyrus police.

Michael Hickman was arrested after detectives and officers with the Bucyrus Police Department executed a search warrant at 2:40 p.m. at 122 1/2 W. Mary St., according to a press release.

The raid concluded an investigation into drug trafficking and drug use at the location, police said.

During the course of the investigation, suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine were seized, police said.

As a result of the search warrant, approximately three grams of suspected fentanyl and three grams of suspected crack cocaine were seized, along with multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Hickman was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held on charges of drug trafficking, tampering with evidence and possession of drugs, police said.
