Terry Lynn Mills, 67, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2025. Born on August 18, 1957, to Victor T. Mills and Hazel M. (Dix) Mills, Terry dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse.

A graduate of Clear Fork High School in Bellville, Ohio, Terry pursued her passion for nursing at the Mansfield General Hospital School of Nursing. Throughout her career, she made a difference in the lives of many while working at People’s Hospital, Kingston of Ashland, General Motors (hospital), and Kindred Care (OhioHealth) before retiring.

Terry was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend. She was known for her kindness, genuine spirit, and wholehearted care for those around her. An excellent cook, she enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends, always adding a special touch to every gathering. Her creativity shined through her crafting, especially in the holiday wreaths and decorations she lovingly made. She also found joy in traveling, baking, and spending time with her cherished pets, Karma Kitty and her Yorkie, Valentino.

Her favorite things brought her comfort and joy—dark purple, gnomes, schnauzers, butter pecan ice cream, German chocolate cake, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and quiet moments by the lake.

She was a proud member of the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary and leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity.

Terry is survived by her sister, Debbie Mills Levingston (Henry); half-brother, Paul Mills (Barb); nieces, Candy Mills O’Dell (Jamaal), Samantha Levingston Hall (Justin), and Danielle Mills; nephews, Michael Mills, Codey Levingston, Henry Levingston II, and Scott Mills; and great-nieces and nephew, Braylyn, Emberleigh, and Elijah Hall. She is also fondly remembered by extended family Ric and Malou Reyes, Evelyn Pama, Katrina Pama, Omari Rankin, and Jordan Rockhold, as well as very dear friends Kelly Long, Regina and Mario Jefferson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Hazel Mills, and her brother, Jake Mills.

A celebration of life will be August 18, 2025 at 3pm at one of her favorite places “the Lakes”; Battery Park, 767 E. Water St. Sandusky, Ohio to celebrate Terry’s life. (Look for the purple balloons at the picnic table pavilion.)

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Terry’s Tribute Fund to help offset funeral expenses on the funeral home’s website.

Terry’s warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
