Darrell Thomas Chaffins, 62, of Mansfield passed Monday, February 17, 2025 at Avita Ontario Hospital.
Born March 24, 1962 in Willard, he was the son of the late John and Iwana (Case) Chaffins. He married Kathleen (White) Chaffins on November 5, 2005 and she survives.
He was a die maker at General Motors in Ontario and a member of the Ontario and Mt. Gilead AMVETS. Darrell enjoyed road trips, camping, walking and hiking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by brother Duane Chaffins; daughter Rebecca Chaffins, uncle Roger Chaffins and aunt Taundra Dye.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Monday March 3, 2025 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 4, 2025 with Celebrant Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery.
