MANSFIELD: Lucinda Lee (Cindy) Hill passed away on February 21, 2025 after a brief battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 73.
Cindy was born on July 9, 1951 in Akron to Ralph Wendell and Nell Elizabeth (nee Shrader) Bientz. She was one of three daughters. Cindy graduated from Fairless High School in 1969 and remained active with her high school friends, having just attended the 55th class reunion in August.
In September of 1989, Cindy married Harry Hill. Together, they enjoyed cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, and traveling. She enjoyed her friendships in the Mansfield Card Club for many years.
Cindy and Harry moved to Colorado in 1992 where they lived for 25 years. They truly enjoyed all that Colorado could provide and made many special friends. She worked for International Jet in Centennial, Colorado as an accounting manager until her retirement in 2017.
Cindy is survived by her husband Harry; step-daughter Sherry Hill (Mike) Christie;
granddaughter Sarah (Harvey) Maness; two great-grandchildren; sisters Beth (Craig) Hari and Cay Faulkner; a nephew and two nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Nell Bientz and grandson Adam Christie.
In lieu of flowers, Cindy’s family asks that contributions be made in her memory to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Cindy’s family invites friends and loved ones to join them on April 3, 2025 for a memorial gathering at Snyder Funeral Homes Marion Avenue Chapel from 2 to 4pm.
