MANSFIELD – Richland Academy of the Arts (RAA) has announced that renovations have officially begun as part of the Empower the Arts (ETA) Capital Campaign.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without our community’s incredible support and C. Harris Consultants’ guidance.

“We are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped us reach this phase of the project,” said Dr. Michael Benson, Executive Director of RAA.

“These renovations will allow us to create an even more inspiring space where artists of all ages can learn, grow, and thrive.”

The first phase of RAA’s renovation focuses on the Tap-Jazz studio, marking a major milestone in its journey of empowering the arts since 1991.

As it works to enhance and modernize its creative space for the community, this renovation will provide Tap-Jazz students with a new, larger space to expand their knowledge and skills.

The project is estimated to be completed in May.

During construction, RAA remains open for all regularly scheduled classes and lessons.

RAA remains committed to providing high-quality arts education and creative programming for all ages.
