MANSFIELD – Several local artists plan to showcase new work at the annual Membrane Constellation Exhibition series at La LUNA.
The show is entitled “Membrane Constellation Exhibition IX” and is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m.
The event will be held at La LUNA located on 32 N. Walnut Street.
The artistic theme for this installment is “Clean Slate” and artists were encouraged to create visual art based on how they interpreted the theme.
In addition to art, artists and attendees will be encouraged to share poetry and music during the open mic portion of the exhibition.
Featured artists include Devin Nyhart, Josh Caudill, Brandon Penny, Ginger Stoops, Braxton Daniels III, Jake Isaac, Morgan Ladd, Madison Shilliday, Clementine Lang, Neil Yoder, Jason Ned Kaufman, Kristi Berg, Lucas Hargis, Belicia Salas, Dazy Jasbek, and Aurelio Diaz.
The Membrane Constellation series was created in 2018 by local artists to promote artistic growth, collaboration, and interaction within Mansfield’s creative community.
The Membrane Constellation was also created to give young and budding artists an opportunity to exhibit their art alongside seasoned artists in a gallery setting.
This show will mark the 9th installment of the Membrane Constellation series, which has featured up to 20 artists per exhibit.
