Brenda Ramey, 55, passed away January 31, 2025 at her home. She was born November 26, 1969 in Galion to William and Wanda (Scott) Haney. She married Lester Ramey on January 13, 2007 and he survives.
Brenda worked for many years driving a bus for Head Start and was affectionately known as Miss Brenda. She enjoyed listening to karaoke at the Brickley in Shelby. She had an infectious laugh, a great smile and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The only person she didn’t care for was anyone driving too slow in front of her.
In addition to her husband Lester, she is survived by her sons: Phillip (Torri) Beloat and Michael (Sara) Crum, grandchildren: Bryson, Jackson, and Waylon Beloat , sister Lisa (Jim) Parker, brother Frank (Tammy) Haney, her father William Haney and nephews and niece Matthew (Beth) Deffendoll, Adam Parker, William Parker, Mark Haney and Chivon Sherck. Brenda was a grandmother of many step-grandchildren who loved her very much. They will also miss her.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday February 7, 2025 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio.
