Tamara King, age 55 of Ontario passed away Wednesday morning, January 29, 2025 in her home, family at her side, following a four-year battle with cancer.
She was born September 6, 1969 in Galion to Larry and Kay (Baker) Bachelder and graduated from Galion High School in 1987.
Tammy was manager of Bostic Time on route 309 in Ontario and did everything from bartending to keeping the books.
She enjoyed camping, canoeing, NASCAR races, and riding motorcycles on many long rides with Shane. She also liked the Dallas Cowboys, football get-togethers and spending time outdoors. Most of all, Tammy delighted in spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Tammy is survived by her life partner Shane Bostic of Ontario, daughter Megan (Kyle) Davey of Crestline, sons Cody (Danelle) Bostic of Ontario, and Logan Bostic of Ontario; four grandchildren Lily Jo, Peyton, Blakely, Nevaeh and one on the way; her father Larry Bachelder of Galion, brother John (Vicki) Bachelder, special sister-in-law Lanette Bostic of Ontario, Rodney (Lori) Bostic of Crestline and Brittany (Tim) Maust of Ashland.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother Kay Bachelder; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Charlotte Bostic; and special nephew, Kyle Rinehart.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. till close at Bostic Time.
