Robert Jerry Eaton Sr., 75, of Perrysville, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mansfield on August 28, 1949, to the late Howard W. and Alice J. (Sprague) Eaton.
Robert was a truck driver for over 46 years and worked for several companies. He was a member of Fusion Madison Church in Mansfield. Robert enjoyed his CB radio, kayaking, fishing, collecting Bibles, and taking family photos.
Robert is survived by his wife, Tammy (Strong) Eaton whom he married on November 20, 2004; children, Robert Jerry (Sheila) Eaton Jr. of Shelby, Mandie (Dan) Eaton-Devault of Mansfield, Josh (Megan) Eaton of Lucas, Ashley (Jameson) Alford of Mansfield, James Cassill of Toledo, and Hannah (Joel) Headley of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jerri Henry of Washington Court House; a brother, Terry (Rita) Eaton of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Eaton, and his stepson, Eric Meister.
The family will hold a celebration of life service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Mansfield First Assembly of God Church, 1000 McPherson St., Mansfield. One hour prior to the service, the family will receive friends at the church. A dinner will follow the service
