Discover an enchanting retreat from the cold weather this year with an orchid presentation at Kingwood Center Gardens – Winter’s Interlude!
Nearly 250 orchids, along with air plants and tropical plants, decorate the intimate space of the Orangery in the Display Greenhouse this winter season.
The orchids are shipped to Kingwood Center Gardens from near and far. Moth orchids (the genus called phalaenopsis) were brought in from Oberlin, Ohio, while more exotic genera were shipped from Hawai’i. Discover varieties of brilliantly colored, fascinatingly fragranced, and variously-shaped exotic orchids in Winter’s Interlude!
Following the presentation, on March 8th, there will be a one-day sale of all orchids in Kingwood’s Garden & Gift Shop.
