BUTLER: Mary Frances Stupka, age 17 passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

She was born September 12, 2007 in Parma to parents David and Janice (Rugan) Stupka.

She was a junior at Clear Fork High School, and was currently a College Credit Plus Student at Ashland University. Mary was an excellent scholar who thrived academically. Mary had a zest for life. As a child, she was very active putting miles on her bike, swimming the summers away at the neighborhood pool and spending time on the softball field. Mary enjoyed shopping, making friendship bracelets and spending time with her fellow squad and teammates. She loved athletics, especially running cross country and track, cheerleading and all things gymnastics. Blessed with a hard work ethic she worked at Dunkin Donuts, earning extra income for school expenses. She always shared a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, especially Sparky who awaited her at the gates of heaven. Fiercely loyal, she was conscientious of others and cared deeply for her family and tight circle of friends. Funny and playful, she appreciated sarcasm and was quick in making comical, off the wall comments.

She is the beloved daughter of David and Janice Stupka of Butler, sister to four siblings Joyce (Jeremy) DeMuth of D’Iberville, MS, Grace (Kenny Harr) Stupka of Toledo, Philip Stupka and Joseph Stupka at home, maternal granddaughter of Edith Rugan, godparents Frank and Bernadette White, of Parma along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
