Roger Lee Shaw, 61, of Mansfield, Ohio died on January 6, 2025 at home unexpectedly. He was born on July 2, 1963 in Mansfield to the late Gilbert Wayne Shaw and Mary Gale Gump/Shaw. Roger grew up in Lexington and made his home in Mansfield, Ohio. On October 20, 2007 he married Kimberly G. (Winfrey) Shaw and they shared 17 years together.
Roger spent 13 years employed at Jay Plastics Industries and was a member of the Survivors Motorcycle Gatherings for 25 years. He enjoyed racing whether it be watching it or getting his hands greasy. He also enjoyed camping with his family and friends and riding his Harley. Roger was funny, caring and just living life. He was a social butterfly and knew no strangers. He was known as the families “little peanut” and was all about his family.
Roger is survived by his Sister- Donna Shaw/Holbrook, Niece- Crystal (Rick) Hess and their children, Jayden, Bryston, Aaliyah, Tristyn and Alexiyah Hess, Nephew- David Spillman and his daughter Scarlett Rose Spillman.
He is preceded in death by his Wife Kim, Parents Mary and Gilbert, Maternal Grandparents- William and Sina Gump, Paternal Grandparents- Ralph and Audie Shaw and his Brother Allen Ray Shaw.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday January 19, 2025 from 2:00-3:00pm with a funeral service immediately following at 3:00pm at Ohio Cremation & Memorial Society, 9 Chambers Rd Ontario, Ohio with Pastor Terry Garrett officiating.
