“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant.” — Anne Bradstreet
MANSFIELD — Thank goodness spring is just a couple of months away.
But between now and March 20, Old Man Winter is calling north central Ohio his home.
And here we go again.
The National Weather Service office in Cleveland has issued a hazardous weather outlook on Friday evening for an area that includes Richland, Ashland Knox counties.
Another wintry system will move across the region late on Friday afternoon and is expected to drop two to three inches of snow during the evening and into Saturday morning, according to forecasters.
It’s also going to be seasonably cold outside.
The low Thursday night will dip down to around 12 and the high on Friday will top off at 22.
Temps will hover on Friday with a low of 19 and a high of 25 on Saturday.
Freezing temperatures will continue through the weekend and there is a 30 percent of snow showers on Monday when the high is expected to be 28.
It will be mostly cloudy on Monday night with a low around 9. The high Tuesday will only reach 16 and will dip down to five degrees on Tuesday night.
