Hilda Jean Beecham of Bellville, Ohio, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Lexington Court Care Center. She was 89 years old.
Born July 11, 1935, in Dover, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Martha Lorene (Green) Page. She was employed as a dental hygienist at the office of Dr. Childress. She was a member of Ridgeway First Church of God and was a member of WCSC at the church. Hilda was an excellent homemaker and loved her family deeply.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, William Beecham; daughter, Phyllis Weiss; daughter-in-law, Lynne Beecham; two grandchildren, Lisa (David) Crandall and William R. Beecham; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Bennett, and Lucas Crandall, Brandan (Katherine) Beecham, and Allison Beecham; seven great-great-grandchildren, William, Natalie, Harrison, George, Zaylan and Isaac Beecham and Karson Warren; a sister, Wanda Bender; and niece, Teresa (Brandon) Tipton.
In addition to her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by a son, Randy Beecham; a son-in-law, Rudy Weiss; a brother, Darce Page; and two sisters, Mamie Elizabeth Shelton, and Thella Mae Morales.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Ridgeway First Church of God.
