Lowell H. Weeks, 87, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Born on March 31, 1937, in Mansfield, Lowell dedicated his life to his family, faith, and community. He retired from the family-owned and operated business, Hoover Instrument Service, where he proudly served the electrical controls industry for many years. A proud Air Force veteran, Lowell exemplified the values of service, integrity, and dedication throughout his life.

As a longstanding member of First English Lutheran Church in Mansfield, Lowell was deeply involved in his church community. He served on numerous committees, sang in the choir, and was a devoted supporter of the Malawi Orphan Care Project. Lowell cherished his church family and the missions they supported, finding fulfillment in their shared efforts to make a difference.

Lowell is survived by his children John (Allison) Weeks, Lowell Weeks, and David Weeks; his grandchildren Blaise (Jonee), Drew, Lily, and Max Weeks; his stepchildren, Martha (Nick) Demiro, Sarah (Mike) Tackett, and Andy (Bernadette) Schneider; as well as numerous step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Weeks.

Lowell was preceded in death by his brother Jack Weeks; his first wife Sheila Patterson; and his second wife Carolyn Weeks.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Primrose Retirement Communities and Southern Care Hospice of Mansfield for their compassionate care and support during Lowell’s final days.

A service celebrating Lowell’s life will be held on Thursday, January 16th, at 11:00 AM at First English Lutheran Church, located at 53 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, OH 44902. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Malawi Orphan Care Project through First English Lutheran Church.
