Kerry L. Williams, age 54, passed away peacefully Friday, December 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 28, 1970, in Shelby, Ohio to Darlene Alfrey, she had attended Shelby High School before marrying her High School Sweetheart, Victor Williams on April 18, 1987.
Kerry’s main focus in life was being the best mother that she could be, and despite giving 100% of herself to that endeavor, she still managed to pursue her many hobbies. She was an excellent painter and could craft just about anything she could get her hands on. She also loved her flowers and being in her flower gardens.
In addition to her mother Darlene, she is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Victor Williams; their two children, Joshua and Kristen Williams, both of Shelby; two brothers, Sean and Kevin Alfrey of Shelby; mother-in-law Suzanne Beal of Loudonville, father-in-law John Adkins of Mansfield; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends whom will miss her tremendously.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Williams in 2011, and her mother-in-law Sally Williams.
Friends may visit the family at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day on Monday at 10:30 AM. Pastor James Robinson will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery.
