MANSFIELD – The Gorman-Rupp Company distributed profit sharing checks totaling more than $4.3 million to approximately 540 employees of its Mansfield and Gorman-Rupp Industries (Bellville, Ohio) Divisions, the company reported on Friday.

This was the 90th consecutive year that the company’s employees have shared in the Company’s profits, a program started by co-founders J.C. Gorman and H.E. Rupp.

In addition to the profit sharing distribution, the following employees were recognized for their years of service:

Mansfield Division

Those with 25 years of service: Melanie Heichel, Debra Lewis, Rick Prince and Lisa Shank.

Those with 40 years of service: Edward Banks, John Kleilein, Rodney Gayheart, James Moore, Gregory Genter, Ronald Porter and Trent Gerber.
