Phyllis Marie Erwin, 71, of Ashland, Ohio passed away November 30, 2024 at home following a 3 month battle with cancer. She was born on September 14, 1953 in Ashland to Charles & Elizabeth (Rowland) Huff. Phyllis married Scott D. Erwin on August 7, 1971 at the Mohicanville Church and they shared 53 years together. She was co-owner of Keener Meats until 1994.

Phyllis was an avid Ohio sports fan. She loved watching The Ohio State Buckeyes football, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Guardians. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. What makes Phyllis unique was her fiery and stubborn attitude, she told people exactly what she thought whether they wanted to hear it or not.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Erwin; daughters, Heidi (Kristy) McFadden and Heather (Todd) Baum; grandchildren, Chase Baum, Brittany (Andrew) Caine, Logan (Paige) Love and Ashley (Anthony) Wilford; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mark (Vicki) Huff, Richard Huff and Ronald Huff; sister, Pamela Whetsel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Chuck Huff.
