Farmland Preservation is a voluntary easement between landowners and the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture to permanently preserve acreage for agricultural use.
The Beginning Farmer Tax Credit program offers tax credits to new farmers who attend a financial management program and/or to individuals that sell or rent farmland, livestock, facilities or equipment to new farmers.
After a brief presentation on each program there will be an opportunity for the presenters to take questions from attendees.
Registration to each session is preferred, but not required. Please reach out to Morrow SWCD’s Program Administrator, Tyler Butler, at mocoswcd@redbird.net or call into the main office at (419) 946-7923 with registrations and/or questions concerning these sessions. Please include the name(s) of sessions attending and total number of individuals attending with you with your registration.
