About the event:

The “Landowner Stewardship Programs” Series aims to increase awareness of opportunities available to enhance, protect and/or preserve your acreage with the added benefits of cost-share, conservation practice payments and/or tax incentives.
Current Agricultural Use Value (CAUV)
Feb. 12th, 2025
Conni McChesney – Morrow County Auditor
Kelly Tennant – ODT, Division of Tax Equalization
CAUV is an Ohio Department of Taxations program that, for property tax purposes, places the value of farmland devoted exclusively to commercial agriculture according to its current use rather than at its “highest and best” potential use..
After a brief presentation on each program there will be an opportunity for the presenters to take questions from attendees.
Registration to each session is preferred, but not required. Please reach out to Morrow SWCD’s Program Administrator, Tyler Butler, at mocoswcd@redbird.net or call into the main office at (419) 946-7923 with registrations and/or questions concerning these sessions. Please include the name(s) of sessions attending and total number of individuals attending with you with your registration.
