A 6-foot-3 sophomore, Mack averaged a team-high 18.7 points and 7.4 rebounds as a freshman. He was an All-Ohio honorable-mention pick in Division IV.

Mansfield Christian lost career scoring leader Amarr Davis to graduation, but the blossoming Davon Mack could supplant Davis in a few years. After finishing runner-up to Lucas in the Mid-Buckeye Conference title chase the past two years, the Flames might be ready to de-throne the Cubs.
