Tamara Mae Schwieterman (Hester), known lovingly as Tamie, passed away peacefully in her home on November 22, 2024, at the age of 61.

Tamie was born on October 3, 1963 in Mansfield, Ohio to Diane Hester and the late Jim Hester. Her family and friends will remember her for her warm heart and infectious sense of humor and the ability to make everyone around her laugh. Her quick wit and playful spirit brought joy to countless moments, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her. Tamie graduated from Lexington High School where she formed lifelong friendships.

Tamie is survived by her beloved mother, Diane Hester, and her siblings Perry Hester and Tim Hester. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Hester, and her sibling Jamie Hester.

She was the proud mother of Ashley (Adam) Lueth, Nathaniel Ayers, and cat-mom to Albert. A cherished grandmother to Hayden Ayers and her grand-dogs, Frankie and Eddie. In addition to her family, Tamie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts/uncles and dear friends, all of whom will miss her deeply. Tamie’s memory will live on to the moon and back in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family will be hosting a private celebration of Tamie’s life. They appreciate the love and support of friends and family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice of Mt. Vernon.
