MANSFIELD – The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Mansfield Branch #3190 is proud to announce its 39th annual Freedom Fund Banquet will take place on Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Life Celebration Center,129 South Main St., Mansfield.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner from 6 to 8 p.m.
This year’s theme, “All In to Win,” reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to fostering unity, progress, and empowerment in the local community. The highlight of the evening will be the keynote address by Andre Washington, Second Vice President of the Ohio State Conference of the NAACP.
Washington is a highly respected labor organizer and advocate for underserved communities.
As president of the A. Philip Randolph Institute, an organization committed to promoting economic justice and racial equality, he has dedicated his career to creating opportunities for all Americans.
Known for his powerful and inspiring messages, Washington will deliver a speech that promises to uplift and motivate those in attendance.
