BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Council on Aging is urging seniors in the county to sign up for a free Thanksgiving meal.

Open to Crawford County residents ages 60 and older, seniors only need to call and reserve a ticket for this free traditional Thanksgiving meal, catered by Carle’s Bratwurst. Seniors will then pick up their meals from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Council on Aging, 200 S. Spring St.

This meal is offered in partnership with the John Q. Shunk Association and J&F Construction.

“This effort would not be possible without our wonderful community partners,” said Courtney Moody, activities coordinator. “We are so Thankful for the John Q. Shunk Association, J&F Construction, and the Bucyrus Lions Club for contributing funds to ensure seniors receive a hot, holiday meal this Thanksgiving season.”

To reserve a meal, call the Council on Aging at 419-562-3050 opt. 1 and speak with Heather in the transportation department.
