Olga Ferger, 89, of Mansfield passed away November 5, 2024 at Good Shepherd in Ashland.
Olga was born July 2, 1935 in Yugoslavia to Josef and Danica Ferger. She came to the United States at the age of 15 years old. Olga worked at Fusco Cleaners for 34 years and then at McDonalds for 14 years until retiring completely. She was a long-time member of St. Peter’s and St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Churches. Olga loved collecting postcards, sea shells, coffee mugs, key rings, and bears.
Survivors include her brother Rick (Deniece) Ferger of Mocksville, NC; sister Helen (Rick) Kearns of Winston Salem, NC; nieces, nephews, and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepmother, three uncles, and three aunts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Herlihy Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing, Ashland, Ohio.
