LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — A 15-year-old boy was killed on Saturday night after an All-Terrain-Vehicle crash, according to a press release issued by Crawford County Sheriff Scott Kent.
The name of the teen was not released at the time of publication.
The incident occurred at 7:12 p.m. when the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5550 State Route 96, in Liberty Township, in reference to a report of an ATV accident.
According to Kent’s press release, the crash involved a side-by-side that had rolled over and ejected two of the occupants. Two passengers of the ATV sustained minor injuries.
The 15-year-old male driver was treated for serious injuries at the scene by Liberty Township Fire Department, Life First EMS, and Med-Flight medics.
The 15-year-old male was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital by Life First EMS, where he was later pronounced deceased.
