Betty Jean Rogers, 85
Betty Jean Rogers, 85 of Bucyrus passed away Wednesday evening, October 30, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
She was born on July 22, 1939 in Ruggles, the daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Mae (Case) Robinson.
Betty was a member of The Church of God in Vanlue, Ohio. She enjoyed working on puzzle books, attending the Senior Center in Bucyrus, playing bingo, but most of all traveling and spending time with her loving family, and pizza Friday’s. Always an animal lover, Betty loved her canine companion, Wynn-e.
Betty retired after more than 20 years where she was employed at the Arbors of London in London,Ohio.
She is survived by her three children, Matthew (Shaunacy) Ross, Terry Robinson, and Carol Robinson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by two sons, Robert Robinson and David Ross; Grandson, Robert Robinson Jr.; her husband, Ricky Rogers; four sisters, Eva Fortune, Dorothy Litchoff, Florabelle Spitler, and Jeanette Kitchen; and seven brothers, Walter, John, Raymond, Paul, Lyle, Harold, and Samuel Jr. Robinson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Pastor Melanie Martin presiding. Interment will follow in the Nova Cemetery. Friends may visit on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
