Gayle Ellen Cramer, 66, of Galion, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Gayle was born on March 15, 1958, in Mt. Gilead to the late Thomas and Bernice (Tyson) Cramer.

Gayle was a passionate woman who graduated from Lexington High School and later pursued her love for floral artistry by graduating from ATI, the Ag Tech Institute in Flora Culture. Her artistic talents shone through in the various florist establishments she worked for throughout the years, culminating in ownership and operation of The Galleon, a fine dining restaurant in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, where she resided for many years.

Returning to the mainland, Gayle shared her talents as a dedicated UPS employee in Marion and later Mansfield starting in 2014, while also indulging her passion for flowers by working part-time at Toni’s Flower Shop. Gayle was meticulous in her work, taking great pride in all she did, showcasing her love for gardening and growing various plants.

Gayle was a devoted mother to her son, Clayton Bradford, showing him unwavering love and support throughout her life.

Gayle is survived by her son Clayton Bradford of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands; her sister Carol Cramer-Burke; her brother Kenneth (Lynne) Cramer; stepmother Sharon Cramer; niece Claire Cramer-Burke; nephew Nicholas Cramer; and great niece and nephew, Sophia and Maxx ErSelcuk.

In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Cramer.
