BELLVILLE: Marjorie R. Snelson, age 89, of Bellville passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 in Waterford of Mansfield.
She was born March 7, 1935 in Mansfield to the late John and Goldie (Barger) Kuelling and graduated from Bellville High School in 1953.
For 35 years she worked as a secretary at Ohio Brass until her retirement.
On December 20, 2003 she married Obed Snelson who survives.
Marjorie was a faithful member of New Life Church of Christ where she served the congregation as secretary and was supportive of her church family. She enjoyed reading and traveling with Obed, spending the winters in Texas.
In addition to her husband, Marjorie is survived by step children James (Chengxia) Snelson, Dennis (Barbara) Snelson and Anita Metheney along with their families including step grand and step great grandchildren, and nephew and niece Nick Kuelling, and Connie (Alan) Maihle.
She was preceded in death by her step son-in-law Tommy D. Metheney, brother Robert & Mary Kuelling, and nephew Danny Kuelling.
The funeral service in honor of Marjorie will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11 am in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, friends may visit the family the half hour prior to the service. Marjorie will be interred at Bellville Cemetery.
