Dean D Matheny of Mansfield passed away October 2, 2024 at home. He was 91 years old.
Born August 18, 1933, in Walhounding, Ohio, he was the son of late J.Garland and Edith Matheny. Dean enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country during the Korean War. Dean was the commander of a local Amvets for a period of time and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Dean enjoyed painting and watching the Ohio State Football team. He prided himself on his woodworking skills that occupied his time after retiring from General Motors Corporation.

Per Dean’s request, there will be a private burial service at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, Ohio.
