MANSFIELD – The North End Community Improvement Collaborative has announced the 2024 “Meet the Candidates Night” will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

This is an engaging event that offers the community a chance to meet, interact with, and learn about the candidates running for various positions in the upcoming November election.

This event aims to strengthen the connection between the candidates and the Mansfield community, providing voters with a platform to better understand the issues that matter most to them.

Event details

 Date: Wednesday, Oct. 9
 Time: 5:30 to 7 p.m.
 Location: NECIC Community Outreach Center, 486 Springmill Street, Mansfield, Ohio.
 Refreshments: Free food and drinks will be provided by JL Catering, owned by Marya
Jefferson, a business supported by NECIC’s Minority Business Assistance Center.

This event is FREE for the public to attend.

The event promises to be an informative evening where attendees can engage directly with candidates and hear their perspectives on key local issues. North End resident Carol Payton will moderate the event, guiding the discussions.

During this crucial election season, “Meet the Candidates Night” provides a valuable opportunity for dialogue, enabling the community to make informed decisions at the ballot box.
