MANSFIELD – The Richland County Domestic Violence Shelter will host “Light of Hope: A Vigil for Healing and Remembrance,” on Wednesday, Oct. 16th from 6-8 p.m. at Reidl Hall on the campus of Ohio State University – Mansfield.

The event is part of the Shelter’s plan to recognize October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and aims to highlight the issue of domestic violence while also honoring and remembering the lives that have been lost as a result.

Scheduled speakers for the evening include:

  • Council Member Aurelio Diaz
  • Survivor Glynis Haney
  • DV Shelter Board Member Brian Reich
  • Commissioner Tony Vero
