MANSFIELD: No longer bound by her earthly body, Judith C. (Greenhill) Rapp, 79, of Mansfield passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Friday, September 20, 2024 following an extended illness.

The daughter of Woodrow Greenhill Sr., and Hazel (Maggard) Greenhill, Judy was born May 22, 1945 in New Boston, Ohio.

In her younger years, Judy had worked at the Stewart’s Root Beer Stand as well as All Prints Photos.

She attended 1st Alliance Church in Mansfield. On September 15, 1974 at 7:30 pm while at an evening church service at 1st Alliance, Judy received Christ as her Savior. Two years later in 1976 she was baptized. She loved Jesus.

Judy loved her family and looked forward to holiday get-togethers. She was the best Christmas present wrapper as well. Judy was an avid walker making sure she got her steps in as often as she could. As for her taste in music, she loved listening to Glen Campbell and Elvis, her favorite however was gospel music played on the radio.

Her family would like to share a special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Dayspring Assisted Living and Crystal Care of Mansfield for the amazing care and love given to Judy.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Buckley; granddaughters Mandy Buckley (Josh Humphrey) and Keri (Ryan) Reasor; great grandchildren Emma, Waldo, and Simon Humphrey, and Keirya and Reese Reasor; siblings Ken (Theresa) Greenhill, Margie (Hal) Hildebrand and Evelyn (Doug) Williams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow Greenhill Sr., and Hazel Greenhill; siblings Woodrow Greenhill Jr. (Margaret), Ercle (Ginny) Greenhill, Lowell “Dewey” Greenhill, Howard Greenhill and Joyce Greenhill.

Judy’s family will receive friends Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 5-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:30 am in Little Washington Cemetery. Pastor Cory Schnuerer will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dayspring Assisted Living or Crystal Care of Mansfield.
