Bonnie Lou Ginter, age 91, of Bellville, went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Bonnie was born July 3, 1933 in New London, Ohio to the late Lyda and Bessie (Aldridge) Crain. On April 12, 1953, she married Charles Ginter in Shelby, Ohio and they have been married for 71 years.

She graduated from Shelby High School in 1951 and was known for her one-act performances, garnering several awards. Bonnie enjoyed collecting antiques, Boyd Bears, and baskets of all kinds. She loved watching the birds that gathered at her feeders, especially hummingbirds.

She served alongside her husband Charles for many years in Northeast Ohio in the Church of the Nazarene. Bonnie was a woman of deep love for her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. Her faithful prayers made an impact only eternity will reveal.

Those who will cherish her memories include her loving husband, Charles Ginter; her children: Tim (Pam) Ginter of Salem, Ohio and Kim (Jeff) Rollison of Crossville, Tennessee; her grandchildren: Angie (Brock) Neal, Amber (Alex) Aybar and Stephanie Rollison; her great grandchildren: Skyler Neal, Tagg Neal, Zoe Neal and Arya Aybar; and her sister, Dyanna (Mike) Brady of Lexington, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Betty Stockwell, Lillian Puckett, Bob Crain, Howard Crain and Shirley Crain.

Friends and family may call from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory. A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm at the funeral home with Reverend Kenny Ginter, Jr. from Abundant Life Church in Ontario, Ohio officiating. A burial will follow the funeral service at Oakland Cemetery.
