βItβs the economy stupid,β was a phrase coined by James Carville in the β92 presidential election.
Many who are voting for Trump are doing so because of the economy.
Those voting for Trump because they believe he is best for their own financial situations are not seeing the bigger picture.
Unfortunately, they are fixated on a single issue which is not the most important issue in this election. Their nearsightedness may be the ruination of America.
Before you dismiss this as exaggeration, think a minute.
There is a good reason why so many of his former advisors and others who know him intimately, people who are highly competent and respected, have to a person warned against another Trump presidency.
Even some of the most respected people in the Republican party warn of a second Trump presidency and have pledged not to vote for him.
They all agree he is unfit morally and personally to occupy that sacred office and that he is a danger to our national security and a threat to our personal freedoms.
In addition, many of the most respected economists warn that the tariffs which he has promised to impose will only lead to higher prices and quite possibly fuel inflation.
Also, yes, he may cut taxes but that only passes the burden of the growing national debt onto our children.
So, you may see an immediate gain for yourself but at the expense of your children and grandchildren.
Further, Trump has created a cult of followers. And in a cult the leader can say or do no wrong. And a cult leader is never held responsible for his actions. A president who is never held responsible is a dangerous president.
A vote for Trump is a misguided, dangerous, and an uninformed vote. You have been duly warned.
