BELLVILLE — The oldest street fair in the state of Ohio is back.

The 174th Bellville Street Fair returns to Main Street this week. Residents and visitors have plenty of classics to look forward to, from concessions and games to the Fair Queen and Junior Livestock competitions.

A lineup of live music features Red Ball Jets, Six Miles to Nellie, Taylor Schlupp and Acoustic Super Friends. The Valley’s youth will put their talents on display with performances from the Clear Fork High School Marching Band, Marching Princesses and Heart of Ohio Gymnastics.

As always, the Bellville library will host the fair’s art show, featuring original paintings, drawings, photography and more. Spectators can stop by Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The festivities begin today with the truck and tractor pull at 470 South Main Street, behind the Bellville-Jefferson Township Fire Station.
