MANSFIELD — Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) invites you to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments in conservation Thursday, Sept. 26.
The celebration will be held at the Area Agency on Aging, located at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario at 11:30 a.m.
The public is invited to the celebration which includes lunch, recognition of the Cooperator of the Year and Volunteer of the Year honorees and organization updates.
The cost is $20 per person and reservations are required by Sept. 18. Reservations may be made at https://richlandswcd.net/.
Eligible voters may cast their vote for two open Richland SWCD Board Supervisor positions from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The candidates are Jean McClintock and Pam McKown.
This election marks the first time in the 76-year history of Richland SWCD of having two females run for Board Supervisor positions.
