SHELBY — As a long-standing community pillar, The Shelby Foundation continues to lead efforts to improve the quality of life for area residents.
Every year, the Foundation awards hundreds of thousands of dollars through grants and scholarships that benefit the Shelby community.
On Saturday, September 21, 2024, supporters, near and far, will rally together and help the Foundation achieve its mission of connecting generosity with community need at the Foundation’s annual fundraising event: An Evening with The Shelby Foundation.
Carrie Kemerer, director, stated, “Just like other nonprofit organizations, the Foundation relies heavily on the community’s generosity. Every dollar raised will be invested back into the Shelby community and surrounding areas through the Foundation’s grant making abilities and will have a substantial and lasting impact on this community.”
Using an online platform everyone can bid on silent auction baskets and raffles and support the Foundation from where and how they feel most comfortable.
For those supporting in person, the fundraiser will take place at the Kehoe Center, Shelby, and will feature a program, delicious food, cash bar, silent and live auctions, a 50/50 raffle, and more. Tickets to the event, which include hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and a dessert buffet, are $75 each.
Event details, tickets and registration can be found at www.theshelbyfoundation.org or by contacting the Foundation at (419) 342-3686.
