Thomas Edward Pollock was born in Crestline, Ohio on November 28, 1954 and passed away unexpectedly in his Mansfield, Ohio home on August 24, 2024 at the age of 69.
Tom’s mother was Mrs. Geraldine McCune, and after her passing, he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Dawn (Baker) and Wilbur Pollock. He graduated from Colonel Crawford High School. He married Sandra Lee Stevens on May 28, 1991. He retired from a long career in automobile sales, sales management, and finance management at various dealerships in the Mansfield area including Spitzer, Whitey’s, and Grahams.
He is survived by his son Todd (Stephanie Webster) Pollock of Mansfield, Ohio and his son Austin (Amber) Hill of Ontario, Ohio and their children Winter, Nicklaus and Kol; daughter Amy (Steve) Pope of Apollo Beach, Florida and their sons Xander and Chase; nephew Casey Pollock of Bucyrus, Ohio; his step-nieces Cheryl (Al) Sheets and their children Stephanie (Chad) Lane and Shannon (Amanda) Sheets; Pam (Scott) Walters and their sons Jacob (Carly) and Jonathan; and Lori (Kenny) McKee and their children Bailey and Landon; great-nieces/nephews Garrett and Nora Lane, Levi and Jameson Sheets, and Cade Walters all of the Clearfork area. He is also survived by his dear friend, Katy Hittinger.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years Sandy Stevens Pollock, who passed on August 21, 2022; his mother Geraldine McCune, parents Dawn and Wilbur Pollock and their children; Jack and Karen Pollock all of the Bucyrus, Ohio area.
Tom had been an avid golfer and was quite proud of his hole-in-one at the Little Apple Golf Course.
Tom had been attending the Berean Baptist Church in Mansfield.
The Pollock family will receive guests from 2-3 pm on Wednesday, Aug 28, 2024 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel, where a funeral service will begin immediately after.
