Patricia Shavers, age 83, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at OhioHealth Hospital in Mansfield following a brief illness. She was born on December 25, 1940 in Shiloh, Ohio the daughter of the late Orval Oyster and Jean (Duston) Oyster. On October 30, 1993 she married Bob Shavers in Melbourne, Florida and together they shared 18 years of marriage. Patricia enjoyed attending the North Bend Church and was also a member of the ladies auxiliary of the American Legion Post #535 in Belleville, Ohio. She loved reading, singing, and loved making memories with her family. She never met a person who was a stranger.
Patricia is survived by her son, Rocky Conrad; sister, Janet (Bob) Blair; brother, Harold (Charlotte) Oyster; sister, Sandy Van Houten, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Jean Oyster; husband, Bob Shavers; son, Stoney Conrad; brothers, Marion and Orval Oyster and sister, Linda Miller.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 12 PM~4 PM at the American Legion Post #535 (dining hall) at 77 Bell St., Belleville, OH 44813.
