Mary Lynne Guilfoyle (nee Knific) passed away on August 18, 2024 at the age of 69. Born in Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Mary R. Knific (nee Troha) and John Knific. She was a loving mother to four children; Sara (Bryan) Britton-Guilfoyle, Rachel (Luke) Ross, Julian (Lauren) Guilfoyle and Mary Grace (Walter, Garfield and Captain Jack) Guilfoyle. She will be remembered as a wonderful grandmother to Conner, Maximillan, the late Oliver, Noah and Finnegan Britton, Abbott and Edie Ross and Abraham and Scarlett Guilfoyle. “Mim” will be missed by her brothers Glenn (Mary Ellen) and Lance (Mary Ann) Knific and her sister Ellen (Frank) Ivory. Aunt to Melissa (Eli), Christopher (Brittani), Jennifer (Jay), Jacqueline (Jeff), Robert and Stephen (Kate). Great Aunt to Myles, Samara, Lucca and Finn.
She was generous and loving, hilarious and outgoing while simultaneously tough as they come. She leaves us all with a void that can never be filled.
Mary’s visitation will be held at Snyder Funeral Home, 81 Mill Rd., Bellville, Ohio 44813 from 2-4 pm on Thursday, August 22. The service will follow at 4pm.
