LEXINGTON — Bay Village’s Jackson Ziemnik scored a short-handed goal with 3:01 remaining in the second half and the Rockets stunned Lexington 1-0 Saturday afternoon in boys soccer action at Lexington.

Bay was forced to play a man down after Oliver Marotta was given a red card with 29:52 remaining.

Lexington had a chance to take a lead with 27:37 to play, but Bay keeper Logan Jenrich made a diving stop on Will Perkins’ penalty kick.

Lexington opens Ohio Cardinal Conference play at Wooster on Tuesday. The Minutemen host Ontario on Saturday.
