Vasiliki Stavridis, 89, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born September 25, 1934, to Athanasios and Theodota Filiadis in Greece.

Vasiliki was the owner of Coney Island Restaurant with her husband, Petros, for over 35 years. She was very loved by all her customers. Vasiliki was a people person and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers; and enjoyed making blankets for friends and family.

Vasiliki is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Theodoros) Liavas; son, Nick (Lisa) Stavridis; granddaughter, Vicky Boyd; great-granddaughter Deanna Boyd; brother, Stergios (Evangelia) Filiadis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Petros Stavridis; parents; daughter, Stella Stavridis; and sister and brother-in-law, Lefkothea (Kostas) Rizopoulos.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2024, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 265 West 3rd Street, Mansfield, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
