Karol Sue Schlarman, age 76, resident of Lexington, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, August 1, 2024 at the Lexington Court Nursing and Rehab Facility.
Born December 1, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Paul and Mary “Eileen” (Smith) Schlarman, she had been a Shelby resident for numerous years, before moving to Lexington for 25 years. A 1965 graduate of Shelby High School, Karol had been employed at RR Donnelley in Willard for numerous years before her retirement. She was a member of the Lexington VFW and she absolutely adored her dog Foxie.
She is survived by her sister Kathy Mason of St. Louis, Missouri, her brother Gregory Schlarman of Shelby; and nephew Mike Mason of St. Louis, Missouri; great nieces and great great nieces and nephews; special dear friend Sue Baldwin of Lexington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Karen McKinney and brother Gary Schlarman.
Per Karol’s wishes services will not be observed.
