MANSFIELD — Oasis of Love Church encouraged unity and community togetherness on a sun-splashed Saturday.

The 8th annual Oasis of Love Block Party/Community Fair took place from noon to 4 p.m. at 190 Chester Ave.

Every element of the event was free, including book bags and school supplies for students in grades K-12. The event also offered free haircuts for children, food and prizes, among other giveaways.

Oasis of Love Church partnered with the Matthew 25 Outreach Center, which donated 1,000 pounds of free produce to the community.

The New Store offered parents an opportunity to register their child for free clothing for the upcoming school year. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic was present to offer free cancer screenings.
