MANSFIELD — City of Mansfield and Richland County officials joined in Friday afternoon at Prospect Park for “An Official Shake Up” lemonade event.
David Kirst, owner and producer of Rominus James Productions, said he wanted the free event to help city residents meet trusted leaders in the community.
It included fresh lemonade and pizza for participants from noon to 2 p.m.
The park event at 542 Marquis Ave. included several elected officials — Mansfield City Council members David Falquette and Cheryl Meier, Richland County Domestic Relations Court Judge Beth Owens, Richland County Sheriff Steve Sheldon and Mansfield Municipal Court Judge Michael Kemerer.
It also included City of Mansfield Public Works Director Louis Andres, City of Mansfield Safety Service Director Keith Porch, Mansfield police Chief Jason Bammann, Assistant Chief Michael Napier and Sgt. Patrick Williams.
Several area agencies also participated, including Richland County Children Services and NAMI Richland County
