MANSFIELD — The Richland Area Chamber and Economic Development announces a new program for young professionals aged 18-30 in Richland County.
Applications for the program are open now through Aug. 23.
“Engage Richland will allow young professionals to gain a community leadership mindset early in their careers,” said Angie Cirone, Mansfield-Richland Area Educational Foundation Director.
“Each participant will be more equipped to serve on boards and demonstrate leadership from their current position while preparing to move into supervisory roles.”
This new program will begin in October with an orientation. Participants will spend the program days meeting with a mentor, touring local businesses, and discussing leadership concepts.
Throughout the program, participants will work together on a capstone project that will be presented at the end of the program.
Engage Richland allows young professionals to grow in their careers as well as grow as individuals.
