Nancy Marie Brucato Grogg, 82, of Mansfield passed away July 16, 2024 at Arbors of Mifflin.
Nancy was born June 8, 1942 in Norwalk to Sam and Marie Gibb Brucato. She was a 1960 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and an active member of First Christian Church. Nancy worked at Montgomery Wards, was a teacher’s aide at Madison South and then an office manager at Women’s Care and a variety of other medical offices. She enjoyed her visits to Lake Erie and loved cooking, gardening and bird watching. For her age, she was very knowledgeable with technology. She loved her dogs Amber and Tilley, and she treasured all of the moments she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Scott (Jason) Grogg, Mark (Jesse) Grogg; grandchildren Ethan Grogg, Cody Grogg, Austyn Marie Mole, Sydney Sturkie; great-grandchildren Everly, Zachary and Emerson Mole, Kinsley Sturkie; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband her of 61 years Gene; sister Carol Pohlabel.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7pm at Herlihy Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West. A funeral service will be celebrated at 9:30am on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Bibler officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
