Julie Lynn Fink Brown went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family on July 11, 2024. Julie was born on June 21, 1958, in Santa Barbara, California to the late Stella Bernice Kramer and Garnett Fink. She met and married the love of her life, Crist Allen Brown, an NCO in the Air Force, on April 2, 1992, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. When her husband was medically retired from the Air Force, Julie relocated to Galion, Ohio so he could be closer to his family. There they were blessed with their two daughters Carrolyn Joy (Chris) Armstrong and Megan Elizabeth Brown. Julie and Crist faced many challenges in life but lived by their wedding vows, “for better or for worse, in sickness and in health”, and were married for 32 years at the time of her passing.

Julie took great pride in caretaking and raising their two daughters. She spent her life serving in many churches across the country and was very proud of her time served in children’s ministry, bus ministry, and singing in the choir. Julie also enjoyed catching up with her good friends Kimmie Shelton and Cindy Parker. Julie’s friends and family say she had a heart filled with love and compassion and a smile that radiated warmth and love. She will surely be missed by all.

Julie was preceded in death by both of her parents, her in-laws Casto and Lois Brown, and siblings Karen Utley, Gail Owens, and Billy Young.

Julie is survived by her husband and two children, brothers Larry Hardy and Jerry Fink of Oregon, Eddie Young of Las Vegas and James Boyde, sisters Janice Hancock of Oregon, Susan Manlove of Las Vegas, Terri Fink, Tammy Fink and Pat Fink of Virginia, brothers-in-law Craig (Christine) Brown of Canal Winchester, Curt (Rhonda) Brown of Pelzer, SC, and Cary Brown of Galion, sisters-in-law Vicki Hawk of Mount Gilead, Terri Gale of Galion, Lynette (Sam) Morris of Crestline, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Arbors at Mifflin for the love and care they provided for Julie.
